Never Give Up!
This post was inspired by someone very special and dear to me. Although I never planned to write an article so titled, I decided to do so after remembering a hymn we used to sing in church when I was much younger.

We can sometimes get to a point in life where we literally just don’t know! Everything just seems, permit me to type, blaaaaa. Have you ever been in a situation where you had a strong passion about something, you’re on such a roll and all of a sudden situations around you stifle you such that you lose steam and the next thing you know, that passion takes a back seat such that you wonder if it was truly a passion in the first place? As life carries on, everything you do just never seem to match up, but you carry on because you really just have to keep on keeping on. Gradually, sadness sets in, depression sets in and even though you are in Christ, something just isn’t clicking because deep down, all you want to do is that which you have a passion for.
I do not want to go on and on but if you are in that situation (as this person dear to me was), all I want to say (as I told her, although maybe using different wordings) is this: NEVER GIVE UP! You are an amazing individual because God created you as such; don’t let life sap you of the energy and glow you’ve once had, don’t let your present circumstances kill that passion you have for whatever activity, business idea, etc. If the resources you require are not available yet, do other things related to your passion so as to keep the fire burning – read books, keep a scrapbook, write your ideas down, attend events, dare to dream, and most importantly PRAY. Be grateful you’re alive and well because it could be so much worse. Remember that God loves you very much and has your best interest at heart. I pray God strengthens us all day by day. Amen!

I echo this article and yea, I have been through this phase. Giving up is so not an option. The only point to give up is when dead. Why let the devil bully and have a filled day with your untapped skills, knowledge, ideas, beauty, strength and grace? Absolutely unacceptable!!! We must fulfil what we have been created to do…and some more. Nothing and no one is good enough to steal our shine..most certainly not Mr Devil….believe that!!
